Capt. John was absolutely amazing. He has a great personality and made the whole day on the water enjoyable. It felt like fishing with someone you’ve known for years. We caught plenty of fish, and everything about the trip was well run from start to finish. I highly recommend booking with him.

Has a great time fishing with my son on a long awaited delayed Fathers Day trip. All kinds of fish were caught and kept including Black Drum, Redfish, Speckled trout and flounders. Released quite a huge Red fish. Good times!!

Captain Jay was able to get us on 14 bull reds, including a monster 40” to end the day. He had a wealth of knowledge and a lot of funny stories to share. Never caught so many fish on artificial only

I’ve been fishing since I was old enough to hold a rod, and I’m no stranger to saltwater fishing. This past weekend, I took my wife, two daughters, and son on a three-day trip with Captain Jay—and I can’t say enough good things. Hands down, it was the best charter experience of my life. Captain Jay’s knowledge of the waters and the Bayou is unmatched. He knew exactly where the fish were and how to put us on them. For three days straight, we limited out—catching red snapper, redfish, speckled trout, black drum, Spanish mackerel, flounder, and even a sheepshead, with the occasional shark thrown in for excitement. My wife and kids had a true lifetime experience and got to see the real Louisiana Bayou. I’d recommend Captain Jay to anyone, anytime, without hesitation. Thank you, Captain Jay, for giving my family and me an unforgettable adventure.
