We had a little weather moving in, so we had to move around quite a bit, but the captain still worked hard to get us on fish. We caught some redfish, but unfortunately, none were keepers since they were either too big or too small. The captain was very knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure everyone in our party had a good time. Great trip overall and a good experience for all.

Has a great time fishing with my son on a long awaited delayed Fathers Day trip. All kinds of fish were caught and kept including Black Drum, Redfish, Speckled trout and flounders. Released quite a huge Red fish. Good times!!

I’ve been fishing since I was old enough to hold a rod, and I’m no stranger to saltwater fishing. This past weekend, I took my wife, two daughters, and son on a three-day trip with Captain Jay—and I can’t say enough good things. Hands down, it was the best charter experience of my life. Captain Jay’s knowledge of the waters and the Bayou is unmatched. He knew exactly where the fish were and how to put us on them. For three days straight, we limited out—catching red snapper, redfish, speckled trout, black drum, Spanish mackerel, flounder, and even a sheepshead, with the occasional shark thrown in for excitement. My wife and kids had a true lifetime experience and got to see the real Louisiana Bayou. I’d recommend Captain Jay to anyone, anytime, without hesitation. Thank you, Captain Jay, for giving my family and me an unforgettable adventure.
